Most EV call-outs aren't the traction battery
Drivers assume an unresponsive electric car has run out of charge. In practice the two faults we attend most often are a flat 12V battery and a charging session that never started — a handshake failure between the car and a public unit rather than anything wrong with the vehicle.
Both are worth ten minutes on the phone before you commit to a recovery. If it's the 12V, we can usually get you moving at the roadside. If the traction battery genuinely is at zero, the bed is the only correct answer and we'll say so straight away.
