Buying or Selling Remotely
Car Collection and Delivery, Door to Door
For buyers and sellers who cannot be in two places at once
Most people who ring us about collection and delivery have just bought a car three counties away, or sold one to somebody who cannot come and get it. The car is fine. The problem is the logistics: taking a day off, arranging insurance for a car you have never seen, and driving home in something unfamiliar. A collection and delivery job removes all of that. We turn up at the seller, put the car on the back and bring it to your door.

Why buyers use it instead of driving the car home
Driving an unknown car home is the risky part of a private purchase. You have not seen the service history in person, you are on a temporary insurance policy, and if it goes wrong on the way you are the one on the hard shoulder. On the back of a truck it cannot go wrong.
It also protects the deal. If the seller will not release the car until the money clears, we can collect after the transfer rather than you making a second trip.
Sellers and part exchanges
Sellers use the same service in reverse. If you have sold privately or to an online buying service and they want the car at their site, we collect from your driveway and deliver it in, with photographs proving the condition it left in. That record has settled more than one argument about a scratch that appeared later.
What we need from you when you book
The collection postcode and a contact there, the delivery postcode and a contact there, the registration, and whether it starts and steers. That is enough to price it. Everything else, including access, parking and timing, we work out on the call.
