The closest auction site to where our trucks already are
The Walsall site sits inside our core West Midlands coverage, with the M6 at junctions 9 and 10 and the A34 and A4148 all within a short drive. That position means collections here can often be slotted in on the same day, and short deliveries into Walsall, Wednesbury, Willenhall, Bloxwich and Darlaston are routine. Default is a flatbed and a winch. Cars parked mid row are winched out and steered rather than dragged, straps go to the wheels, and where a handbrake has seized solid after standing we release or skate it instead of forcing it. A jump pack travels with the driver, but we never plan a job on the assumption that a jump start will work.
Fleet returns, part exchange and the odd row of non runners
Walsall sees a lot of fleet and lease return stock alongside dealer part exchange, so most lots are serviced cars that were driven until they were defleeted. The catch is standing time. A car that has sat on the compound for three weeks with the alarm draining the battery is a non runner on the day, whatever the description said, and that is the single most common surprise here.

Send us the lot number and release reference and we book a slot to suit the release window. The driver checks the vehicle against the lot description, photographs it on the ground and on the bed, and loads it on a flatbed rather than towing it. Fleet and lease return stock is common here, so flat batteries and locked handbrakes after standing are expected and handled with a winch. You get photo confirmation at collection and again at delivery.

What we need before we book the slot
We need the lot number, the release or gate pass reference, the buyer name the vehicle is released to, and the full delivery address with a contact number. Tell us whether the vehicle runs and drives, whether the keys are with the vehicle or at the office, and anything about the delivery address that affects unloading, such as restricted parking or a narrow drive.
