Synetiq Vehicle Collection and Delivery

Synetiq stock is insurance salvage, so condition varies from lightly damaged and driveable to stripped and immobile. We collect from Synetiq sites and deliver anywhere in England, and we plan every collection around the worst realistic condition rather than the best.

Insurance salvage and the paperwork behind it

Synetiq operates from salvage sites rather than traditional auction halls, with vehicles stored in yards and released against paperwork at the gate. Yard surfaces and row spacing vary between sites, and that has a direct effect on how a damaged car is extracted, so we ask which site the lot is at before quoting.

Total loss vehicles across every category

Insurance total losses across every category, which means everything from a written off car with cosmetic damage to a vehicle that has burned. Fire damaged and flood damaged vehicles need different handling again, and both need declaring before a driver is sent.

Why a salvage release is not an auction release

Working from your lot number and release documents, the driver reports to the gate, finds the vehicle, and photographs it in place before touching it. If a wheel is missing or a corner is collapsed, the vehicle goes on skates before it is winched. Fluids and loose panels are checked before loading so nothing comes off on the road.

Send the release email as it is

Forward what the yard sent you. We will read the references off it ourselves so nothing gets lost in retyping.

Lifting a vehicle with structural damage

Where the structure is compromised, the pull point moves to whatever is still solid and the vehicle is skated rather than dragged. Fire damaged vehicles are sheeted so debris does not come off on the motorway. Flood damaged vehicles are drained where they sit if the yard allows it.

What the yard will ask for at the gate

We need the lot number, the Synetiq site, the release paperwork, the buyer name and the delivery address. Tell us the damage category, whether all four wheels are on and turning, and whether the vehicle has been stripped. If you are delivering to a dismantler, give us the yard hours.

Written for salvage buyers and parts operations

Salvage buyers and parts operations

The people buying here are buying to repair or to break, and they buy repeatedly. Their frustration is usually administrative: releases that do not match, gate staff who will not hand over without the right reference, and transporters who arrive without it. We treat the reference chain as part of the job.

Doing salvage work by the book

  • Release references checked before the driver is dispatched
  • Fire and flood damaged vehicles handled with the right precautions
  • Delivery to repairers, breakers and storage compounds
  • Insured transport with documented condition at both ends

Synetiq collection questions

Yes. Vehicles with missing or seized wheels go onto skates and are then winched onto a flatbed. Tell us in advance so the driver brings them.

Key points

Total loss stock and an administrative process that trips people up more often than the damage does. Get the references right, declare fire or flood damage, load off whatever structure survives.
